This Privacy Policy applies to TrustInInsuranceNow ("TIIN", "we", "us"), operated by Precision Edge Limited, and describes how we collect, use, share and protect personal data when you use trustininsurancenow.com and related services.

TIIN is a digital insurance agency/marketplace — not an insurer, underwriter or broker. This policy covers data we collect directly; the licensed insurer that underwrites your policy also processes your data as a separate controller under its own privacy notice for underwriting and claims purposes.

Account and contact data: name, email, phone number, and (once registration is live) identity verification details required to open an account.

Transaction data: the products you view, compare or apply for, and application/policy details you submit to complete a purchase.

Communications: messages you send through the Contact form, including the topic you select and any information you choose to share.

Technical data: device, browser and usage information collected automatically to keep the site secure and working correctly.

To operate the marketplace: show relevant products, process applications, and route your enquiries to the correct team by topic.

To communicate with you: respond to enquiries, send policy-related updates, and — only with your consent — send launch updates or marketing communications such as the "notify me at launch" list.

To improve TIIN: understand how the site is used and inform our independent research, in aggregated or de-identified form wherever possible.

To meet legal and regulatory obligations, including those under the Nigeria Data Protection Regulation (NDPR) and NITDA guidance.

We process personal data on the basis of your consent (for example, newsletter sign-up), the performance of a contract (for example, processing an insurance application you submit), and our legitimate interests in operating and securing the platform, balanced against your rights.

The licensed, NAICOM-verified insurer underwriting a product you apply for, so far as necessary to process your application and issue a policy.

Service providers who help us run the platform (for example, hosting and payment processing), under contractual confidentiality and data protection obligations.

Regulators or authorities, where required by law.

We do not sell personal data.

We retain personal data for as long as needed to provide our services and meet legal, regulatory and accounting requirements, after which it is deleted or anonymised.

You have the right to access, correct, or request deletion of your personal data, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to withdraw consent at any time where processing relies on consent.

You can exercise these rights, including making a Subject Access Request, by contacting privacy@trustininsurancenow.com. We aim to respond within the timeframes required by the NDPR.

We use technical and organisational measures designed to protect personal data against unauthorised access, loss or misuse. No system is completely secure, and we encourage you to also protect your own account credentials.

We may update this policy as TIIN evolves. Material changes will be highlighted on this page with an updated effective date.
